Ritu Fashions ("we", "us", "our") respects your privacy and is committed to protecting the personal information you share with us through our website (ritufashions.com and its /pages/ URLs) and our Ritu Fashions mobile app on Android and iOS (together, the "Services"). This Privacy Policy explains what information we collect, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices and rights you have.

Information you provide to us
- Account information: name and email address when you create or sign in to a customer account.
- Order & checkout information: name, shipping address, billing address, phone number, and payment details when you place an order. Payment card details are processed directly by Shopify and our payment providers — we do not store your full card number.
- Contact form enquiries: name, phone number, email address, and the message you submit through our Contact Us page. This information is sent directly to us via WhatsApp and is not stored on our servers.
- Newsletter sign-up: your email address, if you subscribe to updates via our website footer.
Information collected automatically
- Device information: device model and operating system version, collected by our mobile app for diagnostics and compatibility purposes.
- Usage & checkout analytics: Shopify, which powers our online store and checkout, automatically collects certain analytics data (such as pages viewed and checkout events) as part of operating the Services.
- Local app data: cart contents and app preferences stored locally on your device to improve your shopping experience.
We do not currently use third-party advertising or analytics pixels (such as Meta Pixel or Google Analytics) on our website or app. If we add such tools in the future, we will update this policy accordingly.

- To process and fulfil your orders, including payment, shipping, and customer support.

We do not sell your personal information. We share information only with:
- Shopify, Inc. — our e-commerce platform provider, which processes orders, checkout, and customer account data on our behalf.
- Payment processors integrated with Shopify Checkout, to securely process your payment.
- Shipping & logistics partners, to deliver your orders.
- Service providers who help us operate our Services (e.g. app infrastructure providers), bound by confidentiality obligations.
- Law enforcement or regulators, where required by law.
4. Mobile App–Specific Information
Our mobile app is built to work with Shopify's Checkout and Customer Account systems. Specifically:

Our app does not access your camera, precise location, contacts, or photo library. We do not use any third-party advertising SDKs in the app.

Our website uses cookies and similar technologies provided by Shopify to keep your cart working, remember your preferences, and support secure checkout. You can control cookies through your browser settings, though some parts of the website may not function properly if cookies are disabled.
6. Data Retention
We retain personal information for as long as necessary to fulfil the purposes described in this policy, including to process your orders, maintain your account, and comply with legal, accounting, or reporting requirements. Contact form messages sent via WhatsApp are retained only in our WhatsApp conversation history.
7. Data Security
We rely on Shopify's PCI-compliant infrastructure to process payments and store order data, and we use secure on-device storage for authentication tokens in our app. While we take reasonable measures to protect your information, no method of transmission or storage is 100% secure.
8. Your Rights & Choices
Depending on your location, you may have the right to:
- Access, correct, or delete the personal information we hold about you.
- Unsubscribe from marketing emails at any time using the link in those emails.
- Request a copy of your data or ask us to restrict how we use it.

Our Services are not directed to children under 13 (or the relevant minimum age in your region), and we do not knowingly collect personal information from children. If you believe a child has provided us with personal information, please contact us so we can delete it.
